Shelley A. Leedahl is a multi-genre writer in Ladysmith. Her numerous books include poetry and short story collections, novels, nonfiction, and children's literature. Recent titles include The Moon Watched It All, I Wasn’t Always Like This, and Wretched Beast. Shelley also works as a freelance writer, book reviewer, editor, and presenter, and she writes and produces a literary podcast, “Something Like Love”. She looks forward to the release of her next poetry collection, Go (Radiant Press, Spring 2022).

Joanna Lilley’s latest poetry book, Endlings (Turnstone Press), is all about extinct animals. Her other poetry books are If There Were Roads (Turnstone Press) and The Fleece Era (Brick Books) which was nominated for the Fred Cogswell Award for Excellence in Poetry. Joanna’s novel, Worry Stones (Ronsdale Press), was longlisted for the Caledonia Novel Award and she’s also written a short story collection, The Birthday Books (Hagios Press). Joanna has given readings and workshops as far afield as Alaska and Iceland. She’s from Britain and now lives in Whitehorse, Yukon, with gratitude on the Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch'än Council.
Hasan Namir
Iraqi-Canadian author Hasan Namir graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BA in English and received the Ying Chen Creative Writing Student Award. He is the author of God in Pink (2015), which won the Lambda Literary Award for Best Gay Fiction and was chosen as one of the Top 100 Books of 2015 by The Globe and Mail. His work has also been featured on Huffington Post, Shaw TV, Airbnb, in the film God in Pink: A Documentary, Breakfast Television Toronto, CTV Morning Live Saskatoon. He was recently named a writer to watch by CBC books. He is also the author of poetry book War/Torn (2019, Book*Hug Press) and children's book The Name I Call Myself (2020, Arsenal Pulp Press). Hasan lives in Vancouver with his husband and child.
Billeh Nickerson is a Vancouver-based author, editor and educator whose sixth book, Duct-Taped Roses, was recently published with Book*hug Press. He is Co-Chair of the Creative Writing department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey, BC. He lives and loves in East Vancouver.
Host Fiona Tinwei Lam has authored three books of poetry, including her most recent collection, Odes & Laments, as well as a children’s book about dealing with grief, The Rainbow Rocket. She edited The Bright Well: Contemporary Canadian Poems on Facing Cancer, and has co-edited two nonfiction anthologies. Her poems have thrice appeared on Poetry in Transit. Her prose and poetry appear in more than 35 anthologies, including The Best Canadian Poetry (2010 and 2020 editions) and Forcefield: 77 Women Poets of BC.
