Membership in The Federation of BC Writers is open to everyone who writes (published and unpublished). The FBCW also invites editors, teachers, librarians, booksellers, publishers and others with an interest in British Columbia’s vibrant writing and publishing community to join. To see the perks of membership, please visit our Member Benefits page. 

Regular Membership: Open to any age, and is $95 per year.

Youth Membership: Open to those under the age of 21, and is $35 per year.

Senior Membership: Open to those over the age of 65, and is $55 per year.

Student Membership: Open to any person who is attending an ongoing post secondary program and is $35 per year. Please provide an estimated date of completion in your application

Volunteer Membership: Open to persons willing to contribute three hours a month or more to the organization, and is $35 per year  Please contact hello@bcwriters.ca prior to registering in this category.

Accessibility Rate: For those where cost is a barrier to joining, we have an accessibility rate that is open to all. There is no additional work or information required to select this rate. The fee is $45 per year

Affiliate Membership (out-of-province): Open to any age, this rate has all the same perks of regular membership except voting at the annual general meeting. The rate is $95 per year.
