He will delve into every aspect of world-building, starting from the spark of an idea to constructing the intricate frameworks of history, government, and currency. Attendees will also explore character creation, familial connections, and the development of unique magical systems that breathe life into fantastical narratives.

Presenter bio:
Evan Parrott lives in Penticton with his wife, twin toddlers, cat, and bunny. You'll either find him writing at the local Second Cup, pestering the local bookstore, or out hiking in the wilderness if he's not at home attempting to entertain two eighteen-month olds. He published the first book of his debut fantasy series, Wind's Embrace, in June 2024 and had the fourth book, Tears of Eternity, hit the shelves in May 2026. Book five is slotted for a January 2027 release.
