Michele Rule is a disabled poet from Kelowna BC. She is especially interested in the topics of chronic illness, relationships and nature. Michele is published in OYEDrum, Five Minute Lit, Pocket Lint, WordCityLit, the Lothlorien, the anthologies Spring Peepers and Poets for Ukraine and others. Her first chapbook is Around the World in Fifteen Haiku. She lives with a sleepy dog, two cats and a fantastic partner.

Cherie Hanson has an MA in Poetry from UBC, Vancouver and published in Canadian Women’s Studies; Canadian Dimension Magazine; Cosmic Trend Magazine; Love Poems for the Media Age, Ripple Effect Press Anthology;  Erasure published by Naropa University; Warrior Poets Anthology; The Pine Beetle Review. She was accepted in 2019 for the Vancouver Manuscript Intensive and has won awards in Wine Country Writers’ Festival and Word on the Lake Writing contests.

Lindsay Thorimbert hails from Saskatchewan but he moved to Kelowna two years ago. He lives with his wife, Connie, in an old house next to a duck pond. You’ll find him in his attic office, writing little stories. Mostly speculative fiction.

Faith Wood: Addicted to suspense stories since early childhood, Faith Wood has a passion for solving puzzles.  Her former career as a Peace Officer lends a bit of credibility to her mystery writing.  While her current career as an international speaker and performer help define her talent as a voice over artist. Faith has won several awards for her cozy mystery series yet never has she won anything for her ability to market these. Most people accidentally find out she writes and narrates books. An outdoor enthusiast, Faith wanders the Okanagan Valley (British Columbia, Canada) with her husband, her spunky golden retrievers, and her wine loving friends!

Meaghan Hackinen (FBCW host): Meaghan is a writer and ultra-endurance cyclist whose two-wheeled adventures have taken her from Haida Gwaii to Mexico’s high plateaus, across Canada and the United States, and from North Cape to Tarifa along Europe’s highest paved roads. Her debut travel memoir, South Away: The Pacific Coast on Two Wheels (NeWest Press, 2019) was a finalist  for the Kobo Emerging Writer Prize and an Alberta Book Publishing Award. Meaghan has an MFA in Writing from the University of Saskatchewan and lives on the traditional territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) People in Kelowna, British Columbia.
