AGM 2025: Annual General Meeting

It is that time of year again - AGM.

We are aiming to keep this year's AGM short and sweet to tackle the basic business of the organization. This is a great opportunity to learn about ways you can be more involved in your Federation of BC Writers.

We are aiming to hold another, much more comprehensive AGM in the Spring to get us back into our normal cycle. This year, we had some significant changes in board and staff and it took a little longer than we had hoped to finalize all the pieces we needed.

To inquire about board, committee, and other opportunities to make a difference in our community of writers, please email our board chair, Tara Avery at president@bcwriters.ca We do not take nominations for the board live at the AGM. If you are interested, please advise us in advance.

All registrants must be in good standing by the AGM start to be able to attend and vote.
