About the Call for Proposals
Program/Event General Descriptions
Intensives
The Federation of BC Writers holds week-long writing intensives throughout the year. In 2026, we plan to offer intensives on wide-ranging subjects including memoir, novel-writing, writing for YA/NA audiences, editing, marketing, and dramatic writing (for stage and screen). That said, we're always on the lookout for new and exciting topics in writing and publishing, so you needn't limit yourself to proposals related to these topics. Intensive sessions last one hour and are held over Zoom.
