This month Megan will be talking about culture writing and cultural criticism with Frederick Blichert and Andrea Warner. Frederick Blichert is an entertainment writer and author living in Vancouver. His latest book Extra Salty: Jennifer’s Body explores the legacy of the 2009 horror-comedy Jennifer’s Body. His writing has appeared in publications including VICE, Paste Magazine, Xtra, The Tyee, Montecristo Magazine, and Android Authority, where he is a senior entertainment writer.

Andrea Warner (she/her) writes and talks. A lot. She’s the author of Buffy Sainte-Marie: The Authorized Biography (2018) and We Oughta Know: How Four Women Ruled the '90s and Changed Canadian Music (2015), and co-hosts the weekly feminist podcast, Pop This! Hang out with her online: www.theandreawarner.com  

Megan Cole is a tattooed food enthusiast with an obsessive reading habit. Her writing has appeared in The Puritan, Invisiblog, Kootenay Mountain Culture and more. She's currently working on her first book titled Head Over Feet: The Lasting Heart Ache of First Loves. When she's not writing, reading or cooking, she's working as the director of audience development for the BC and Yukon Book Prizes and recording interviews for the podcast Writing the Coast.
