Workshop/Event Description
Using examples from five genres (memoir, essay, literary fiction, flash fiction, and poetry), we'll explore how to read the work of others to find inspiration for our own work. Prompt-based activities will support the lessons and offer the opportunity for real-time feedback in the Q&A portion at the end of the session.

Bio:
Geneviève Wynand is a BC-based author, editor, writing coach, and presenter. Her words have appeared with PRISM international, Grain, Tricycle, and Introvert, Dear, among others. In her past life with Pulp Literature Press, she wore many hats, including acquisitions editor, line editor, and blog poster (semi-) extraordinaire. In the literary playground that she now calls home, Geneviève gets to host workshops, speak on panels, and offer blue-pencil and first-page sessions.
